Terms, ownership, and refunds

What you are buying
WordFlex is a marketplace for exclusive claims on single words as they appear in this product. A claim is a recorded ownership entry in our database. It is not a trademark, copyright, domain, or any government-issued right, and it does not stop anyone from using the word in speech, writing, or other products.
Prices and fees
Unowned words listed for first claim cost $5. That amount is a platform fee. After a word has an owner, later sales split 70% to the seller and 30% to WordFlex. Buyers pay the listed or accepted amount in full through Stripe Checkout.
Seller payouts
Seller proceeds (70% of a secondary sale) go to the seller through Stripe Connect when they have completed payout onboarding. Until then the 70% is held as a WordFlex wallet balance. WordFlex keeps 30%. First-claim fees are 100% platform. WordFlex is not a bank.
Bids and payment windows
When a seller accepts a bid, the buyer has 15 minutes to complete checkout. If payment does not complete in that window, the deal expires and the word can be listed or bid on again.
Refunds
Claims and secondary purchases are digital records delivered immediately. We do not offer refunds because you changed your mind, disliked a word, or lost a later sale. If Stripe never captured a payment, you were not charged. Chargebacks and legally required remedies still apply. Email wordflexcom@gmail.com if a checkout succeeded but ownership did not appear.

Conduct
Do not use WordFlex to harass people, traffic in illegal content, or evade payment. We may hide words or accounts, reverse fraudulent claims, and refuse payouts when we reasonably believe the terms were broken.
